Wren expands into ‘more accessible’ high street model

Kitchen retail giant Wren is poised to open its first high street store next week, as the company looks to expand its retail model into small format locations.

Opening on Friday, June 13 in London’s Chiswick Green, the 6,000 sq ft kitchen and bedroom retail store will have 28 separate display bays, as well as a room configurator, door bar and visualiser, and several VR bays.

With this showroom marking Wren’s first foray into the high street retail model, the retailer says it is rolling out the format to “bring its design expertise into the heart of the community”.

Discussing the upcoming opening, Wren’s showroom manager for the Chiswick store, Mahdih Bikdeli Soltani said: “We’re thrilled to be opening in such a vibrant and well-connected area, especially as this will be our very first high-street showroom. This new format gives local homeowners a more accessible way to experience the latest in kitchen and bedroom design, right in the heart of Chiswick.

“Our displays have been thoughtfully designed to reflect how real people live, while our VR technology and room configurators make planning your space easier, more immersive and more exciting than ever before. We can’t wait to welcome our first customers through the doors.”

Once open, the new Chiswick store will become the retailer’s 116th UK showroom. Wren also recently announced it opened its milestone 150th global retail store last month, with the launch of a series of new showrooms in the Northeastern United States.
