Scandinavian appliance brand Asko recently marked its milestone 75th year in business by launching a new suite of appliances along with an interactive exhibition at Milan Design Week.
Said to be a “throwback to a rich Asko history of innovation and care”, the exhibition gave visitors the chance to explore the company’s legacy, as well as get a sneak peak at the brand’s launches that will be coming to market this summer.
In an homage to its first washing machine, which was invented 75 years ago, Asko previewed its new generation of Scandinavian Laundry Care 2.0 appliances.
These include washing machines with a Quattro Construction 2.0 suspension system, which the company says ensures a solid, stable performance that is virtually vibration-free.
Also joining the Laundry Care 2.0 range are new tumble dryers, which have features such as butterfly drying with Bundle Guard, which is designed to ensure a gentle, even drying experience that eliminates bundling.
In addition, Asko also previewed its new Celsius NYACRAFT ovens and its new range of built-in and freestanding refrigerators, called Nordic Fresh 2.0 Refrigeration.
In other news, Asko announced last year it had entered into a new distribution partnership with KA Distribution, which will see the company supply its full laundry range across the UK.
Asko is also a Sustainability Partner for the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2025, which takes place this week.
