Sink and tap specialist Blanco has officially launched its new brand experience centre at the company’s headquarters in Oberderdingen, Germany.
Set over 650 square meters, the newly opened experience centre is the result of around 14 months of planning and construction. According to the company, the space offers not only a product exhibition, but also a place for consumers to learn more about how Blanco has shaped the kitchen water place over the last century.
Visitors to the space can explore six thematic zones, where they can interact with a total of 26 fully-operational Blanco UNITs. These displays allow users to explore the company’s collections of multifunctional sinks, customisable base cabinet systems and water systems.
Blanco says the experience centre also details some of the methods behind its manufacturing processes, so that visitors can see first-hand what sets the company’s products apart.
According to Blanco, the centre is currently open to kitchen planners, architects, designers, and suppliers, with a view to also opening the facility up to consumers in the future.
“We don’t just want a product or kitchen exhibition. We want to make it tangible how everyday life at the kitchen water place can be better designed with our solutions,” explained Daniela Römgens, vice president and head of global brand marketing. She added: “It is a place of inspiration, innovation, and encounter that reflects the values and identity of the Blanco brand.”
Blanco CEO Frank Gfrörer says that the new brand experience centre “clearly shows where we have developed in recent years”, also saying: “It contributes to making us tangible as a brand and impressively demonstrating our added value for the kitchen water place. This clear positioning will help us seize future growth opportunities.”
In 2023, Blanco also redeveloped its UK HQ showroom into a similar brand experience centre, for trade professionals and consumers alike to visit and learn more about the company’s portfolio of products.
