HiB announces strategic leadership changes

Bathroom supplier HiB has announced key changes to its board of directors.

According to a statement from the company, these leadership changes mark a new era for the business and are part of its strategy for growth.

After 18 years with the business, Graham Halsall has been promoted to the role of sale director. In his new role, Halsall will lead the UK sales team and work closely with merchant customers to continue growing the HiB brand in the sector.

“I am thrilled and honoured to take on the role of sales director at HiB,” said Halsall. “Having been with the company for nearly two decades, I am deeply committed to our mission and excited to lead our talented sales team towards new achievements.

“There are many exciting developments in the pipeline at HiB, and part of my role will be supporting retailers and our fantastic sales team as we bring those projects to life and ensure we continue to offer the best possible service to our customers.”

Ash Chilver, who previously held the position of sales director, has taken on the new role of product director. Chilver, the company says, will be putting his years of commercial experience and sales knowledge to use as part of new responsibilities, which will include overseeing the product development process.

“I am eager to step into the role of product director and focus on the exciting opportunities in product development,” said Ash Chilver. “Our commitment to innovation and quality remains at the forefront and I look forward to driving the development of products that appeal to consumers.”

The company also announced that Steve Kaye, who has been with HiB for 32 years, will be leaving his role as marketing director, to spend more time with his family. In a statement announcing the personnel changes, the brand said that Kaye’s departure “marks the end of an era for HiB, where his contributions have been pivotal in shaping the company’s marketing strategies and brand presence”.

“After 32 wonderful years at HiB, it is time for me to start the next chapter and spend more time with my family,” said Steve Kaye. “It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for the support and friendships I have built over the years. I wish HiB continued success into the future.”

Commenting on the transitions Robert Ginsberg, HiB CEO, said: “We are delighted to promote Graham Halsall to sales director and welcome Ash Chilver into his new role as Product Director. Both have shown exceptional commitment and expertise to the bathroom industry over the years, and I look forward to working with them to drive growth and the expansion of HiB.

“We also extend our deepest gratitude to Steve Kaye for his remarkable contributions over the past 32 years. Steve has been a cornerstone of our business, playing an instrumental role in our growth and success.

“His contribution has been invaluable, and we are hugely grateful for his unwavering commitment to HiB. On behalf of the entire team, I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
